Earth Pro terms of use
Earth Pro is independently developed by Zac Henson. Original app code and original artwork are available under the MIT license, including its warranty disclaimer. Distribution through the Mac App Store is also subject to applicable Apple terms.
Maps and third-party content
Map imagery, geographic datasets, articles, photographs, names, and third-party services retain their own terms, licenses, and attribution. The MIT license does not relicense that content. Follow provider restrictions when saving, exporting, recording, sharing, or reusing map content. See the project's third-party notices.
Google features are subject to Google’s Terms of Service, the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms, and your applicable Google Maps Platform agreement. You supply and manage your own compatible API key and billing account. Google may charge you for API requests. Earth Pro is not affiliated with Google.
Other providers include Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap, NASA, USGS, Wikimedia, and Open-Meteo. Their data, coverage, availability, and accuracy vary. Do not rely on Earth Pro measurements or imagery for surveying, safety-critical navigation, or other decisions requiring certified geographic accuracy.
Local control and privacy
Enable MCP only for clients you trust. A connected client with your session token can operate supported app features. Review the privacy policy for local storage, provider requests, and your choices.

Open-source code and commercial-use limits
The distributed app’s included data/service configuration is not cleared for commercial use as-is. Earth Pro’s original code and artwork remain open source under MIT, which permits commercial use of that code. MIT does not license third-party maps, datasets, imagery, APIs, or services.
The app’s online elevation feature uses Open-Meteo’s free API, which permits noncommercial use only. Commercial deployments must replace or properly license restricted services and verify every enabled data source and intended export, screenshot, or recording. The stock app does not offer a commercial Open-Meteo endpoint/key setting; a compliant alternative requires an adapted build or service configuration. An API key for another provider does not remove these obligations.
Some sources permit commercial use, including public-domain datasets; others carry service, attribution, redistribution, or other conditions. Public access or catalog inclusion is not permission for commercial reuse. This notice does not add restrictions to MIT-licensed code. See the full third-party notices and code license.
